I can only assume that it was an administrative error at the Club Office. You just can not get the paid Staff these days. I can only appologise for them.
It certainly was not Peter Rodwells error, he doesn't do things like that ! I got 2 sets of entries instead of one plus a copy of the Final Instructions, so don't think you are special. For any body else, who has suffered a similar problem, sign-on is below Race Control from 07.45 to 08.15, Observers briefing at 08.25, Practice starts at 09.00, and of course there will be the mandatory and guaranteed lunch break. Why not come and join us for some good old fashioned Club Racing, just contact me for passes and any further information. |

Are you planning a special 'crystal ball & tea leaves' session the day before the meeting or is Lincolnshire in a different time zone?
Perhaps for us mere mortals we can have the predictions on Sunday at 08:25. |

Different Time Zone DaveW ?
We're on a different Planet in Lincolnshire, thats why a lot of my guessing..., I mean Predictions....., are pretty accurate Here's another prediction. the guaranteed lunch break will be for a minimum of 40 minutes duration! So you do not have to make Breakfast last all day. |

Thanks to John W and Peter R and all at MGCC, both competitors and officials for a good days racing in rather trying weather conditions.
The Trophy races were superb, especially the ZR's defying the laws of physics and the effects of centrifugal forces going round Coram in almost monsoon conditions. We were wondering just how they managed to race so closely together at those speeds - but it was possibly quite simple - they couldn't see the other cars around them due to the spray! I was glad to see the switch on my magnet is still set on repel! Must admit Pete I thought we were going to have one when Car 10 in the Midget's spun on to the infield and appeared to be heading for Fantasy Island and then spun back into the middle of the track and was stationary for a while. However the repelling forces of the magnet worked beautifully and sent him downhill to you! Cheers mate. Andy thanks for attracting the others in your direction much appreciated - however several members of the crew were getting itchy feet and a bit jealous of you and Pete, they were hoping for something to run about to to keep warm I think. But hey the rest will do them good. Terry |

Yeah, thanks to all you turnip farmers for a good day's racing, not to mention the MGCC for yet another cracking day, and to Big John for forecasting it would rain - his predictions are SO accurate!!

Bit delayed (I've been away) but just wanted to say thanks to everyone who stood out in the pouring rain on Sunday while we tried to drive round a very slippery track. I had a great time harrassing JohnD's vitesse estate in the TR Race (Thanks to John too for a great race!). Fantastic day. The tent's nearly dry now! See you all next time.

I think the time travelling must have had an effect on the Mystics predictions.
Rain - arriving at 11 Actually arrived at 10, briefly, before returning in anger at 12:30 Lunch break - 40 minutes Spot on - he must have known about delays in morning to bring break in line with his predictions (perhaps he had a magnet to make up for Terry's not performing). Finish - 17:50 Actual finish about 18:20 - needs to have words with lesser mortals (drivers) about interfering with his powers. |
