CJ2002 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Don't forget the Independents...

All this talk of the championship is cool but who's going to take the Independents?

Well, the best indie driver by far is Tim Harvey, so he should do it.

However, his string of four non-finishes earlier in the season means that he probably won't (and finishing races explains why Aaron Slight is leading the indie points - finishes rather than pace).

I'd love Tim or Dan to do it for Team Halfords...

For me, I'd love to see Dan Eaves get it, as he is a very good driver and I feel he's almost been forgotten due to the Pug's pace last year, he should of been a works driver this year too.

Tim Harvey, Dan Eaves and Aaron Slight have all driven some excellent races, showing what a great level of talent that they have. erm... hang on, Tom Chilton? Who? some of the critism of Tom Chilton (oh god! i'm not trying to reignite that one!) is not as unjustified as some thought...

Aaron Slight will take Independents title, IMHO.

Yes. Aaron Slight will probably take it - simply by finishing (as usual). The Atomic Kitten and Team Halfords cars will probably have better pace (but the 406s will break down!) so Aaron will pick up some good points. The only fly in his ointment would be for Barwell to stuff up - like before the Brands feature.

I'll still be cheering for Tim and Dan though!

Well dare I say it I'm routing for Team AK's Gareth Howell to do well. I'd like to see him do well, admittedly he'll have his work cut out but would be a great finish to the season.

This has certainly gone to the wire as well as the main championship. Qualifying positions

Sprint
12 Howell
15 Slight
16 Harvey
17 Eaves

Feature
5 Howell
10 Slight
14 Harvey
17 Eaves

Eaves failed to start on the weighbridge so lost all his times and then didn't get back out again.

I think that the respective team mates are going to have a lot to do with the outcome.

Bad luck Gareth.

Gutted for you!

Considering you missed a couple of early season races though you did fantastically well. Dying to see what you can do next season! Bring it on!!!!!
