Grand Prix Legends & XP
I loved this game, but since having Windows XP i cannot play it using my Graphics Card which is a Nvidia GForce FX 5200. I have updated my game to version 1.2.0.1. This lets me play the game, but only using software mode graphics which are absolutely appalling. I have been able to play upto date games such as Half Life 2 etc without no problems. Does anyone here know what might be causing this problem? Is the game simply to old to support my graphics card!?

This is a problem easily fixed.
The original GPL only worked on the 3dfx cards. However patches have been made so that it can work with OpenGL and Direct 3D depending on which you prefer. I've found that Direct 3D works best with ATI cards. There are various places to get it from so just do a quick google search, install it and you're good to go. |
