Has anyone seen any event details (about from those outlined on the circuit website)?? GP2 Asia and Speedcar are also running at this meeting.

There's a time table on FIA GT3 web site, but that's pretty much all they have released.

All of the races (GP2 asia, GTs and Speedcar) are live on TV throughout the Gulf this weekend. Not sure if there's similar coverage elsewhere.

Apparently Gigawave isnt there this weekend from what ive heard. Sadly there is no live video from the looks of it.

Nice to see though the Corvette Motorsport is the 2009 GT3 driver champs!!

Gigawave isn't taking part in FIA GT3. Are you confused with FIA GT?

I think he meant Gigawave as in the Gigawave-production crew providing the livestream on gt1live.tv not as in Gigawave the actual race team.

only FIA GT3 could have brought rain to Dubai - we've managed to take it with us to practically every round this season - Typically here they get a maximum of 2 days rain each December - yet it's rained on and off for days now.
Last night it only rained for about 4 hours and then a bit this morning but the circuit was flooded - the dip between turns 1 and 2 had a small lake which was over a metre deep..as for the pit lane, the French Morgan mechanics had a makeshift surf board atatched to their quad and were surfing up and down the pit lane...it really was that deep.
Then it was sunny and high 20s again this afternoon..bizarre.

GREAT pics, thanks I may have to use a few as backgrounds for a few days, if you don't mind, love the pics showing the variety of the series. As for the rain, wow, reminds me of winter rains in Arizona come and gone in a flash but leaves an amazing flood in its wake.
