Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Old points system standings

Does anyone know what the overall WRC championship standings would be under the old 10-6-4-3-2-1 points system? I think Solberg would still have won with Loeb second.

Would be interesting to see.

Burns certainly wouldn't have been as high, Loeb has had more wins than Petter, I think...?? So may have been Seb champ.

Solberg ended up winning one more than Loeb...

By the old points system the totals would have been:
Solberg 59
Loeb 57
Sainz 43
Burns 37

I only calculated it for these 4 guys. But as we see the result is about the same, but Petter wins by 2 instead of the 1 point he won by.
