Adam, with enough lens, the old back straight/T 10 is good for the sweeper (T5).
T4 you are quite close to the action, watching the cars turn into the corner.

But the best spot is on the grass in front of the Canteen at exit T 2, great spot, close to the cars (it almost feels like you can reach out & touch them.)

All will be very crowded (T 2 especially) ALL WEEKEND. But Friday might be your best chance, if you can get there.

Also the grassed area on the other side of the (old) control tower beside the dummy grid area – you get a good view of the esses, also the left hander onto the new extension and also the sweeper. Not sure if you can get in there when the V8s are on though.

With lots of lens length available there are so many areas its not funny because you can see most parts of the track, from most parts of the track. At the top of the circuit (cleavage area) is another good area for getting close.

No that would be my job using the usual vehicle.

The WooPS Valiant will be opening and and closing the track between events just like it does at other race meetings.

And doing more laps than all the support events combined.

At the top of the small hill roughly where the big tree is you have the best view of the rest of the track, while nearer turn 3 is good too because there is usually action there.

Where cranky said on the exit of Turn 2 at the fence that is next to the dummy grid.

Also if you are just looking at close shots, go to the last corner where pit-entry is.

But exit of turn 2, and approach to turn 3 at the fence are the best spots as thats where your closest.

I suppose so Adam, I couldn't see the grandstand last time I was there! (it was not there to be seen)

That grandstand will be good photo opportunities of that end of the track, also in front of it if there is access and beside it. Good to see the circuit's facilities keep improving.

The grandstand is a temporary one, I do believe there will be access in front of it, and certainly beside it.

peckstar has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
i reckon, if you walk up along the pits, there is a gate beside the pit building. its effectively right beside the track (but in the pits) great place to catch the car, but at a lsower pace, but they still hustle through there
