How long ago did you marshal there?

Billy, i think the comment about PFI was sarcastic. Drivers complain all the time about how the track is boring and i agree. All the corners have been made with a compass. It's just its great facilities which have got it where it is now

Yeah, thats what I thought, it looks boring and only a few corners, not very challenging.

I agree with what's been said about PFI, looks great in ariel shots (the facilities) but constant radius corners and one (kindof) chicane doesn't make an interesting circuit I wouldn't think

Speedy king, over twenty years ago now. still go and spectate every now & then. Family commitments don't allow me to spend the whole day there. Living in Yorkshire doesn't help either.

Just a little. No earth bank to the front or any permanant buildings then. A few tyres and painted lines to mark the course. No sunday market either. Mind you most Karts arrived on a boxed trailer or in the back of a trannie van then as well, a streched tarp. if it rained as it often does.

G...Y...G....

Fast, flowing, hilly. Love it. Also had a near perfect weekend on my only time there, so that helps And it's got a very friendly atmosphere compared to some of the more well-known tracks.

Buckmore runs it very close though. Excellent racing opportunities, hilly, technical, great variation in corners, and excellent facilities.

I kinda agree with the berating of PF, it is rather boring to drive with those standard radius corners, but I do also think it's pretty technical - with those long straights after every corner, mistakes are punished heavily, and it does provide pretty good racing. The facilities have already been mentioned, and I think with the way you can see the whole track due it's stadium-like layout, it's probably one of the best spectator tracks in the UK.

Only other circuit on the list I've raced at is Wigan. It's pretty neat, although really in need of resurfacing now. Can have some fantastic slipstreaming battles there! I've only ever raced on the Club circuit, but will get my first shot at the Valley this weekend - looking forward to running through one of the most famous/feared corners in the UK

Other ones worthy of mention - Rowrah, Larkhall, and Kimbolton.

Totally agree with you Crozier! Glan-Y-Gors is a brilliant, challenging circuit. I'm racing there this weekend

Also agree Buckmore runs it close.

Le Mans is pretty good too.

PF sucks - from the aerial photo its the same layout as Buckmore without the hilly interesting bits

Hi Speedy King , a lot of tracks have that PF design - but most of them are indoors where space is limited. I raced at PF once in TKM and felt that success there was too reliant on how good your motor was on those massive straights. It is a very nice "facility" though.

Trevisio, I've run 3 laps at the le mans circuit (not the rent1.) It's a good track, shame it's flat though. That right-left-right after the curved start finish 'straight' is fun!

speedy, I've had engine troubles too.. so my dad went out today n bought a new one, extreme eh
