I would just to see the look on the owners of BMW's Merc's and Audi's after a day around Bristol *G* *G* Always nice to see one of those German luxury cars with a bent fender.
Though I'd like to see what Honda would do! |

Over here anyone who owns a Merc or BMW is pretty snooty and look down on everyone, so it would be cool to see them cars giving a bit a rubbin' *G*

I actually pick a driver...not a make of car. I have owned them all.
The manufacturers title really doesn't mean a whole lot to me. That may be just a lady thing- I have a few other lady friends who don't care either. The guys all seem to be FORD MEN or CHEVY MEN. |

I've owned a buick skylark, dodge colt & my last 3 cars have been mercurys...I just want one that doesn't fall apart & have had great luck with my mercurys. My dream car is a 68 Camaro SS convertible & would perfer to own a GM (easier to work on & parts are cheaper) but they are so un-realible.

Here I figured you to be a Mustang man. When I was in high school- I would have done flip flops across the football feild to go out with a guy who had a Mustang. They were the coolest!

I own a couple of GM products as well as a new 2002 Ford Mustang. My family traditionally have been Ford people but they like the old Chevies when it comes to restoration projects. We always kid eachother at family get-togethers when someone buys something other than a Ford because we jokingly say "Uncle _____ bought a Chevy, we didn't know he was a closet Communist." Or "He better not call me (in my Ford truck) to tow his Chevy truck home when it breaks down."
I guess I would have to say that I am a Ford Man when it comes to racing. The reason why I have always been a Ford Racing fan is that Ford races all over the globe and Henry Ford was a racer himself and this is why he created Ford Motor Company. However, despite the fact that I am a Ford race fan, I like the others too. I don't find rooting for sheet metal to be that exciting so I usually root for certain drivers no matter what they drive. My first brand new car was a Honda- Loved it- but soon it became too small. Drove it for about 5 years. The engine started to go on it. It used to give Roseman fits when he would try to work on it. He eventually wrecked it. He flipped it on it's top.

I don't think you'd take too much liking to our cars over here then , going by your comments there: well you'd probably love 'em at first but you'd get annoyed fixing them
A 5 hour drive for us takes us from one end of the country to the other!, I can see the Irish sea in the morning, 3 hours later I can see the Atlantic Ocean! *G* |

Sometimes it takes me 3 hours just to get across the city!
Traffic SUX. Rosemans an ace with cars. He just rebuilt the engine in an old Dodge Ram charger. (I helped) Now that puppy purrs....& can leave burnout a block long! (I know I tried! *G*) He likes the older cars. HATES the new ones. Last edited by Roselady3; 7 Dec 2001 at 17:55. |

My Brother-In-Law is handy with cars too, rebuilt an old Morris Minor, put in a decent engine, sprayed it red, and put some cool racing tyres on it, now he has a white convertible Morris Minor, also rebuilt an MG, but the family car can lug about 9 people, ya know my sis is a 'soccer mom' LOL!
