Paul Rayner should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Formula Renault Thruxton test predictions

I'm expecting this to be the lowest turn-out for a prediction thread so far because:

1) It's tomorrow.
2) There wasn't much interest in the race prediction
3) The novelty's beginning to wear off.

But what the hey.

1) Danny Watts
2) Robert Bell
3) Patrick Long
4) Lewis Hamilton
5) Will Davison

I actually expect McLoughlin to be up there, but didn't want to pick the top 5 from Brands, and someone had to go. Sorry Mark.

What happened to Jamie Green at Brands? I saw the car in two bits back in the paddock, so I presume a mega shunt? Any cast any light?

kbudden should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
1. Watts
2. Hamilton
3. Mcloughlin
4. Bell
5. Rudholm

Legge and Rossiter within the top 12.

Re the Renaults on TV. As I understand it the series will again be covered by Chequered Flag - maybe if C is lurking he can confirm this. Therefore expect it to be on Channel 4 sometime soon - probably at about 1am on a Sunday or Monday morning.

Yes, they will. They wanted to announce it at the weekend but having everyone in one place to sign the relevant contracts ain't as simple as it might sound.

I know Granada/ITV were filming it and on-boards were used. I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer ...

You understand wrong. I think you may be a little surprised with what's in store, providing everything falls into place.

Meant to say, top five in Thruxton test:
1. Hamilton
2. McLoughlin
3. Bell
4. Watts
5. Rudholm
6. Kane

I don't know for sure when it will be on, but I do know that when it is it will be very good. The live television race coverage that was shown in the media centre was very high quality in my opinion, with good graphics and good camera work. Add on board cameras and condense the coverage and it'll be great.

I guess the board must have collapsed when I posted this yesterday, so I'll try again.

The standings at Thruxton were:
1) Bell
2) McLoughlin
3) Watts
4) Sharp
5) Rudholm

So the scores were:
Jonny Apex 6
kbudden 5
BAR Babe 3
Paul Rayner/paulzinho/bella 2
