Astromega line-up

Because there are few who can read dutch... The astromega line-up was confirmed yesterday, Nico Verdonck and Jan Heylen will drive the team's car. Nico will be the youngest f3000 driver ever. The press release will be on the team's website soon, in the mean time: http://www.f1world.be/f1nieuws.php?id=4621_0_2_0_C (F1-world.be)

For more info about Nico: www.nicoverdonck.com

He is really good! Astromega has finally an all belgian line-up

Don't know this is the right step. He's very young and it's a big step from Formula Renault 1600 to F3000.

Gabriele Tarquini went from karting to F3000, Kimi Raikkonen went from F Renault to F1, so it can be done.

He's good enough. I saw him at the last race in Zolder. He's a mega talent.

It be good to compare Nico with Rob Nguyen who did the same jump.. although Rob's Championship in 2002 I beleive is much stronger than this years line up.. we will see

The danger, of course, is that if things don't go well early on in the season the driver's inexperience can see his head go down - and losing confidence makes things even worse.

Result - one promising driver is finished before he really starts.

Lets hope that doesn't happen in this case.
