Do we know if there's a car for him? All the workshop pics that have been floating around from BMR have just had one MG lurking in the background. Could of course just be the case that the shell was away elsewhere being straightened out. Also do Motorbase have the third car ready (and a driver)? Looking at the photos of the cars post crash the Focus looked to be the worst in terms of damage - could it even be repaired or was it just junked? |

Stewart back in at Maximum as no younger drive could find the budget. Not ideal for either him or the series, but I hope he surprises a few folk.
I also don't think we'll have a 32 car grid next season. For better or for worse. The budgets seem to be getting to the silly stages again. http://www.btcc.net/2017/07/20/lines...ed-at-maximum/ |

Either way, testing with Rory Butcher suggests to me that he may get some race mileage too. |

Motorbase will only have two cars this weekend, then get a third driver in to replace Davenport at Knockhill, hopefully Butcher
Lines coming back in the driving seat for Maximum was the only real option to keep the TBL, as they couldn't find anyone else. Hope they do their aim of finding a new young driver next season. |

Interesting to see on Instagram a photo from the Bmr workshop with a stripped and dipped Subaru shell in the background. Without the necessary rollcage and NGTC fabrication though.

And there was a new Focus stripped and dipped on its way to Willie Poole for fabrication.

The driver in that picture went quicker than the name in the window.
The latest Adrian Flux blog only mentioned JP once, and concentrated on another driver in the team. It appears that (nearly) everyone at Adrian Flux / Subaru / BMR now knows who their best driver is, and are pooling their resources and publicity in his direction. |

Not seen the picture. They did ask Willie Poole to build up a fifth car over the winter then cancelled the order, so could be the leftovers from that.

Very interesting Twitter thread -https://twitter.com/stewartlines2/st...36069551726592
Seems Mr Gilham tried to offer Mr Lines a young driver with sponsors and a beanie hat. Offer declined. |

It was in similar condition to the Mg that was started off but cancelled.

Ok, so the team has asked Ash to drive JPs car and provide feedback; it does seem therefore that BMR is not taking JP at face value when he says he feels the car is wrong. So they've asked Ash for his input.
Trust therefore must be near non existent; have JP and Faux had a disagreement too? These two have worked together very closely and with good results over the years. |

Interesting idea and a good one at that, try and see if it's true that something is wrong with the car or if Sutton really is doing that well or even both
