mr stoddard did say all this rather smugly, as if it really didn't matter mr brunner had legged it.

Built already?!? Well if they've got ages to develop it and it has a works engine...I see many a point for Minardi next season!

FORZA MINARDI!!!

JVA should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
This article I found on F1racing

Juni) erwartet.

I hope you can read it, but it says that Minardi have alraedy found a new engine for next season. It will be a big surprise. He will name the dealer at the Grand Prix from Canada

The car for next year is already finished.

Did I miss where the FIA stated there will be no rule changes between now and next season?

Ok...so, if it's finished...why don't we run it now and give Fernando something he can beat the Jags/Honda/Arrows with and also give Tarso something he can beat the pacecar/trackside runners with?

Forza Minardi!

I don't think that P.Stoddart meant that the car was already finished. I think that the drawings are finished. They will have to work hard to finish the car in a few months.

For the first time ever, a Minardi car is ready a year early rather than a week early. Talk about one extreme to the other...

I'm with Neil C though, what happens if there are rule changes?

If there were to be rules changes, surely the teams would already know they were in the pipeline?

A Brunner car and a works engine...

"Um welchen Hersteller es sich dabei handelt, gab der Australier noch nicht bekannt, kündigte aber an, dass es für viele eine große Überraschung sein werde. "

This means that who the engine supplier is, will be a big surprise for many... I just hope that it is the good kind of surprise!

So, what does this mean... Is it less likely to be Ford, Ferrari or Asiatech?? Could it be... *gasp* Honda??? or... Mercedes??? Now that is a pleasant thought... St. Fernando in a Brunner designed, Honda powered Minardi!!!
mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

They havn't. And when it is finished, it will be called next year's car. They can't race it yet because the Renault 111 degree engine is still producing less power than the hunk of junk at the rear of the Minardi. I think that just about answers everyone's questions. Now where are my sandwiches - I'm late for school.

A Renault deal would not surprise anyone - therefore I think we could be looking at BMW, Mercedes, or Mugen-Honda engines...

*I wish*
