Andy Turnock should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Royale RP27

I am trying to put together the early missing years history of my Royale RP27.The car is one the nine supplied to Richard Dutton racing in 1980,i spoke to Richard a couple of years ago but he has not kept any records from that period. The farthest back i can get is 1983 when it was owned by Devonian Chris Lord,he raced it with Neil Brown engine until September 1984.He can remember that the Royale's previous owner was on the same grid of his first race with his replacement car,but thats all.He thought this guy was from the north.
The cars main body colour when it was in the sprint and hillclimb scene was predominantly white, i assume that might have been its racing colour but who knows? Not a lot to go on but i hope someone can throw some light on its first years.Any thoughts will be appreciated.
Cheers Andy
