Rossi future
When Rossi wins a World motorcycle championship, do you think he will hang around and try to win more or try something else like cars or superbikes or dirt bikes (paris-dakar) to try and win on heaps of different things

Hilariously enough he wants to have a go at some form ofcar racing.
Very ironic considering that he doesn't have a car licens. He has a test with Jordan coming up as a PR stunt for Honda. Lets see how he goes at that. its well known that Mick Doohan is presently driving in the Australian Rally Champsionship. Niall |

Niall, Mick is not racing in the Aus.. Racing Championship. BUT, he did enter the Targa Tamania in a merc, as did Barry Sheene. Mick crashed out, not sure on Barry.

"When he wins a world motorcycle championship" ?
He has already won 2 ... has he not? And I would think no 500 GP World Champion wants to win just 1... How does that make him look next to Doohan 5, Lawson 4, Rainey 3 and Roberts 3 ? Not very good in my mind... I would look for an ego driven bike racer to seek at least 3, it's not like he is a tired old man now... far from it. After that... It depends on how much he wants to "do" something else after 10 years of traveling and hard work chasing the bike titles. Paris to Dakar?... Why in gods name a former top World RR'r would want to punish himself like that is beyond me. Cars? ... maybe |

Barry drove a Merc ML55 for only part of Targa. He had other commitments at the SBK round at Phillip Island.
