Singapore time-table revisions
To calm fears of not having enough night running the scheduled times for practice and qualifying have been changed.

Vettel and Rosberg will have to ask for special permission from their mums, otherwise they could run the risk of being grounded.

Sound sensible, although if the GPDA get their acclimatisation session it should just be a matter of showing off the lights to them before they start going at full tilt under lights.
Maybe a run behind the safety car in road cars (without headlights)? |

They should have at least the first session on the new track during the day, so drivers can learn the track.

The whole thing should be run during the day. Does Bernie have shares in Singapore's electricity provider?
Why should these countries have to make sacrifices to suit European TV viewers, when there are European countries losing races right, left and centre? It's a waste of electricity at a time when F1 is under scrutity from the environmentalists. The exact effects of glare are hard to predict, especially if it rains. The circuit looks fantastic, so it's a shame most of it will be invisible during the race. The fans won't get a great view, and what about people with nightblindness or similar? |
