GT Cup this sunday---info?

Hello all
I think this is in the right place, tis sportscars/GT after all, tho it is a bit clubby.
Looking forward to seeing the GTcup race on sunday at Brands, anyone got any entry lists or information?
Anyone seen any other races, any good?
Any info appreciated!
Simon

Usually a reasonable size grid with plenty of Porsche and Ferrari entries. The commentator last described is as gentleman GT racing which does seem a fair comment. The support package is pretty good too, I know we have 64 Lotus entered for the Elise Trophy.

I've seen a lot of the races this year, albeit only on tv however and from what I have seen I have to say im very impressed. Last race I saw was at Croft where the areo regs had been tweaked in order to make the F430's more competitive, and it worked. The race also saw the introduction of a Lamborghini Gollardo running in the invitation class running in GT3 spec, and was a little faster than the other leading cars which are essentially "cup" level. Dont know if this car is making a re appearance or if it is just racking up some testing miles for a assault on British GT? Either way it was a welcome addition.

Not really much in the way of news or photos, but for some general information try the series website. www.gtcup.co.uk - hope that helps.

Thankyou for the replies! Unfortunately as you say the website isnt the best! I have always liked the idea of a sprint series for GT's call it heresy if you must but imagine BTCC style racing in GT3 cars........sounds good to me!
As for 64 lotuses (loti?) isnt the Brands grid only 32 spaces? So two full grids? Excellent!
Really with the GTcup im hoping for an entry list at some point
