CART 1987 - Information sources?
Hi
I decided to start this post because this is a big request. As you know, I am updating some drivers' pages for GEL Motorsport site. I also work with a friend of mine in a big article about 1987 CART Championship. We have some magazines but only portuguese, so there are only short reports. I know where to find results on the net but I would like to know more about the entry list, driver changes, cars, sponsoring, photos, reports and magazines. May you help me? |

I'm sure a few people can point you in the right direction. I suspect you might get some good advice from the Indycar/American Open Wheeler section of our forum as well? |

The Carl Hungness Indy 500 yearbooks for 1987 and 1988 may help; they both have a brief section as to the whys and wherefores for some driver changes in the year leading up to Indy. CART's own annuals at the time were just photobooks.
