I would say they are excellent after his second place finish in the Daytona 500. I mean everything that he has had to endure this year, if he gets a lead in the final few laps, how many competitors would try to pull out and pass him? I think a sure second place finish would be tough not to take for someone who has already won this year especially when most fans would boo the driver loudly that took a win away from Jr. on the last lap. I figure that the ones to watch are Michael Waltip, Dale Jarrett, Jeff Gordon and Kevin Harvick. I am not sure about the Pontiacs but I would expect Bobby Labonte to be strong there as well.

Also don't forget that Dale Jr did not try to make a pass on Michael in order to get him his first win at Daytona. So if Michael can get behind Jr, a favor will be repaid.

Lee should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Not trying to be a smarta$$, but I'd say he's got a 1 in 43 chance of winning. Ok maybe a little better, but he stands as good, or as bad a chance as anyone else entered.
