DMN Snetterton 31st July/1st Aug
A bit of a strange ask i know, but does anyone that is going to Snet in the DMN that takes a camper, mobile home or whatever they are have a microwave on board??? Its just that my little'un doesnt like jars of baby food and i have to heat up what he has in microwave. I have rung the circuit this morning to see whether they would be able to heat his stuff at their facilities to be told that they arent allowed for health/safety reasons.

Could you not take your own microwave and plug it in at one of the hookup points or in one of the garages?

Motorhomes/ Campers etc often don't seem to have microwaves on board as standard fittings as they drain lots of power from on board batteries. Not too much of a problem if you have an electrical hook up but motorhome manufacturers seem to plan on that not being the case & don't provide. At least thats what I've ben told by a neighbour who rents these things out for a living.

I have one in mine (700W jobby), a fridge freezer, and a hob/oven......
What helps is the 6KVA generator, or the mains hook-up.

Then again, there are motorhomes, and MotorHomes, or would that be Recreational Vehicles.

Sadly, I won't be at Snetterton that weekend. Still got the car in bits, hoping to have it back together and out racing before the season's finished!
