Could anyone lend a spare pair of overalls for this weekend at Brands?
I have got a friend from the Caterham club very interested in marshalling (he did a recent taster day and is now enthusiastic) and he is down for marshalliing this weekend at Brands Hatch.
However, he won't receive the overalls he has ordered from AWS in time and I wondered if anyone might be able to lend him a pair just for the weekend? He is just under 6 foot and a size 44 in AWS label. To be returned by post, washed, immediately after. Many thanks, Tim Neill |

excellent - let me see if I got this right....
I (as a well under 6 foot tubby little bugger) give your mate a set of my manky old overalls for the weekend and he will send me a freshly laundered set in the post? Does he possess a set of "normal" overals that could be combined with a tabard? I will certainly throw a spare set in the boot of the car Tim if nothing better comes up. |

Returning your manky overalls by Securicor at 08.00 on Monday morning, brand new once more, all badges re-sewn, gift wrapped in Harrod's finest orange tissue, topped with a single rose and delivered to you by a nubile 18 year old Latvian van driver in hot pants and wet T-shirt really would have been a good deal. But sadly, I couldn't arrange it in time. Seriously, I have had an offer from someone to lend us a spare pair so I think we'll be OK. But thanks again. Looking forward to a great weekend, I'm dribbling already. |
