kjw should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Zandvoort

Just got the final instructions for Zandvoort and have notice this.

Article 25 Safety
‘For closed historic cars a window net on the driver’s side is preferable and if this is missing an arm restraint is compulsory. For open cars (except formula cars) an arm restraint at the driver’s side is compulsory’

This maybe a stupid question but do you need a window net if you have closing Perspex windows? I have not come across an arm restraint before, how does one work and how does it fit in the car?

You will need one or the other. They sell arm restraints at the circuit (about 10 euros).
Simple adjustable strap with loops at either end. One fits over your forearm and the other to the bottom the the shoulder harness by the belt buckle.
Sounds awkward but you forget it's fitted.

it's a Dutch thing, we've had to wear them in open cars over there for many years. It takes seconds to google motor racing arm restraints and you will see pictures and all you ever wanted to know.

Since buying a resraint when raced at Zandvoort 6 years ago I have religiously carried it with my race kit ever since. Never needed it again, but at least not exactly expensive to buy!
