There ain't many, from memory! Guess you found the same.... I finished up in a French chain motel in Nevers when I raced there. Hopefully Gerard can post something a bit more positive if things have improved!

If you're looking for a location near the circuit, you can make a search around Varennes Vauchelles. When its for me, I drive some 20 kilometers away from the circuit and go for Hôtel du Pont Neuf at Le Veurdre which use to be ran by a couple of charming English people. Ask for a room the new part of the hotel its better. Not really next door but convenient.
For diner and good gril, La Grande Chaumière is the place, the tender is a former butcher. Bear in mind that B&B doesn't belong to our culture yet… Mike, I can't see major improvements in this matter, sorry … |

By the way, Neil, could you please specify the dates you're interested in?
Sorry for the typo I meant VARENNES VAUZELLES but the damn corrector changed it! |

In France Formule 1 hotels are … errr not fantastic. If you're looking for something average/ convenient may be you've better go for Campanile or Ibis. In October the weather might be rather cold so bring wet tires is a good option. Since a long while I use the booking website because you can find a long list of options like parking, free wifi, or animals accepted (mandatory in my case). They have a wide selection available, with or without pre-payment or free cancelation.
If I can help dont hesitate. |

Hotel Le Paddock is where I would recommend.

Ha ben non alors, ça va sévèrement plomber le budget!
I should add Kyriad too. Neil correct me if i'm wrong but you're looking for an hotel near the circuit and Nevers and you have no sponsor but want have good time still. You have enough remaining time to chose. Mike, let me guess, when reading all this may be you think something like: Why so many efforts for a track and a town of few interest? C'est Ã* peu près ça, n'est-ce pas? |

It’s not the only circuit that has ‘less than generous’ hotel accommodation close by. But as most of my circuit visits involve sleeping in the truck I’m not totally au fait with room prices......
