I like the lower nose, I hate the high ones.
Formula One noses ahould go back to what they looked like in the early 90s. |

When they first started they copied McLaren and now they copy Ferrari! Here's an idea - get a wind tunnel! Or at least one that's not thousands of miles away. Get a new designer too. Oh... erm... they tried that. Keep they same team boss, oh, they didn't try that.
At least they have "gone back" to castrol. Remember the IMSA Jags. Wow they were great. They used to win too. To be fair, it looks quite smart (for a modern F1 car). I wonder how well it will do? |

Spot on...The Jaguar, despite looking pretty neat, in terms of look is just a more angular form of Ferrari F2001... the same drooping nose, the same side pod design, the same flipper and side-pod winglet, and most obviously, the same front wing which looks as if it comes right off the Ferrari factory.

It looks vile, as usual. Come on Jag, ditch the white bits. Eurgh. And that nose... straight off the Ferrari production line as you say, but it looks ridiculously long.

well I quite like it. YES, the paintscheme's a bit fussy, but ignore that it's actually quite a classy effort. HOWEVER, the world's moved on. I can't wait for the new ferrari/McL and they'll almost without doubt will blow the R3 into the weeds. Almost a shame really...

That front wing in the 2nd pic looks like a giant, 2 level serving tray! Remove one of the end-plates and I could use that for a toboggan ( a one or two person snow sled for those unsure of what a toboggan is!). I suppose it has to be that big to generate the required downforce.
Anyway, it does resemble a green Ferrari somewhat, and if the improved performance is there, then we are going to see some incredible racing among the midfielders this year. The battle for 4th in the constructors may move up to be a battle for 3rd. |

Jaguar haven't made an F1 car that looks like the Ferrari.
The FIA have given all the teams blueprints that look exactly like each other. |

i think it looks great! i suppose we will see most of the cars this season looking like the ferrari from last season. notice how last season all the teams who had those horrible square front wings changed to ones similar to ferraris nice curvy one!

"Jaguar haven't made an F1 car that looks like the Ferrari.
The FIA have given all the teams blueprints that look exactly like each other." Nope, it is very much obvious that Jaguar had tried to copy Ferrari's design in their new car. Sure, FIA's regulations make all cars have roughly the same outline, but look at Ferrari and Jordan last year and the year before, their cars always look more distinctive from the others. It's very much about the details of the cars, and Jaguar had taken many cues from the Ferrari F2001. But who can blame them? F1 is all about carbon copying from the winner... |

The only really noticeable variations these days are with the nose.

I couldn't agree more. Its sad relly how hideous they are. Hanford as aerdynamicist might give it a decent tun. But I'm not optimistic. whe Stewart and then Rahal were involved, i cared. I don't now. P.S.,anyone else notice the Swerve's red booties? How chic. |
