possibile?
weird question:
you know how sometimes when you find yourself or someone else playing a driving game, they sometimes tend to move the controller while steering? so, would it be possible for a game company to make an attachment to the standard ds? have the ds clip to the "steering column" as it wear. add some pedals on the back like the ones on logitech driving force brakes and gas and make them rotate with the controller. r3 and l3 could be used for gear shifts. press l3 in to downshift and r3 to upshift? i would imagion it could be cheaper alterinitve to bulling a complete wheel. force feed back might be a problem, maybe not, my guess it that it would depend on the material. so, is it possible? |

I'm fairly sure its already been done by someone for the PC. I don't think I'd get on with a 'floating' steering wheel myself.

Actually, I've noticed when I play racing games I really get into that, when I'm just about to scrape past a wall, I actually move my leg in slightly as if to almost get out of the way, which is actually quite freaky. :S

I remember playing games like Sonic years ago when you'd move the joy pad as you press the button to get that extra inches on the screen .
