Maybe Simon should come along as well a lucky charm, and do odd jobs around the pits - it worked at Daytona!

Sam Hancock is in the car too, which is a bonus. Who's Cort Wagner? Son of Robert?

Great-grandson of Richard (Wagner, not Keith).

I was planning on going but an offer of a holiday came along that difficult to refuse so I took it. No Le Mans for me but I will be in France and will be ringing for regular updates of what is going on. Other friends of mine managed perfectly well without me at the recent Nurburgring 24hr (11th overall and 1st in class by about 10 laps!) so I'm sure Martin will get along just fine as well.

I'd love to do Le Mans as soon as possible but I've got plenty of years in me yet so I won't be too upset if I'm not there next year.

Huh, I wasn't here all day, still busy with pictures of the Tuscans at Spa. Martin, do it, just do it. Give us something to cheer about. As for Simon, have a very nice holiday in the lovely France. Who was the team at the Ring ? I was there as well, it's around the clock time at this stage of year.

My old Caterham team, Team Parker Racing. They were running the works Caterham Superlight which ran almost perfectly for the entire race. They had just one unscheduled (can't spell that one) pitstop which cost them next to no time. You couldn't have missed it since it had a bright pink Rollcage.

Simon, interesting to know what sort of lap time a Superlight would do around the old 'Ring? Any ideas - pretty quick I guess. I believe you did the Eurocup there last year but on the normal new GP track. My brother is mechanic for Malcolm Cook who also did the Eurocup!

Oh yes, the Caterham. They did very well indeed. They stopped in during the final lap to have their car flagged with union jacks, very nice to watch. I hope they will be there next year as well.
