Spritle has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Do you think the track adverts are history?

It seems that the Foster's logo/ad painted on the track at Spa has more than a few drivers ****ed at the potential danger in the wet.

MS, in his GPDA hat, says they have to go. I heard him say in the post qualifying that he was told the ad would be removed before tomorrow's race. If they don't stop this ridiculous way of generating advertising revenue there will soon be ads all over the tracks in the future. Isn't there any other "sensible" space available for additional advertising?

I thought I had seen everything when it came to promotional advertising in sport until I saw ads "painted" onto the bare backs of professional boxers.

Ridiculous!

I'm even more sickened by it than I am by the taste of Fosters. Its not only dangerous but it looks terrible and destroys the entire ethos of racing tracks, and at Spa of all places.

didn't they (fans) used to write messages on the tracks in paint? i think i've seen many examples of this over the years including Imola 94' in Damon Hill's GP year - the picture of Hakkinen...

I agree that they should be scrapped but pole's probably right its all money money money in F1 and therefore there'll be another of the stupid on track billboards down one of the Monza straights!

If I had my way they wouldn't have even started!

And I think there used to be writing on the tracks because i remember at Spa in 1991, fans wrote 'Free Bertrand Gachot' in Belgian
