At the time I couldn't get hold of Dugal and I wanted to speak to Dom to get a quote or two for the Round Preview. Anyway it doesn't matter now as the team have decided to withdraw. Long story but essentially it doesn't fit in with their plans for '03 and some new roll bars that would have allowed us to run a better set-up failed to materialise so the car wouldn't have done itself or Dom justice

Ive missed something , was Dominic gonna run the Pepsi car at Sandown ?????

Marcus - Yes Dom was going to drive our car this weekend and tested at Calder yesterday. We had hoped to test some stiffer roll bars in combination with suitable shocks and springs but they didn't arrive in time. Without more time in the car it would have been too difficult for Dom to be competitive with the way the car is now so the decision was made to not race.

Dugal had already decided not to drive himself due to personal reasons.

Stay tuned for news of his plans for next year

That was the Round Preview that I sent V8X on Tuesday and things changed last night but the team don't want me to publicise the withdrawal

The only reason I thought it sort of made sense is that there is a Mygale F3 operation for sale at the moment, and given the proximity of Dugal to Mygale as importer/driver for a while it could be the logical conclusion....

Care to share any goss Pepsi? Or will there be an announcement soon?

Unfortunately it will be January before anything is finalised and there are a few variables at the moment pending decisions by bigger teams.

I didn't spend much time at the track to get much goss on developments at other teams other than that stated by AA and fellow forum posters
