Congrats ten-tenths racers
I would like to congratulate our members Steve Ellery, Simon Will and Mark Noske.
Well done to Steve and the Supercheap team on a fine second place today. Excellent drive from Luke Youlden in the last stint in the rain. Well done to the team. Simon, So close, yet so far. I was yelling at the TV hoping that Jason would pass Skaife for the lead, unfortunately it didnt come off, but at least he had a go. A great effort all the same.Maybe better luck at Bathurst, although i am still going for a ford win. Mark, Just outside the top ten in 11th. Kept out of trouble for what we saw of you on tv. Well done and good luck for Bathurst. |

mtpanorama, i second those thoughts. Great effort by all of you guys today. Willsy, what can you say (!) AND Steve thats an oarsome result!! As a fan its great to see some of the littler, really hard working guys (ie. Super Cheap and Dynamik) succeeding and getting results.

Well done Steve on a great team effort all day.
Well done Mark on staying out of trouble and holding onto a solid position. Simon, i felt so sorry for you guys after Jason was catching Skaifey hand over fist and unfortunatly the move did'nt pay off. But it will get people to sit up and take notice of you guys at Bathurst. |

Congratulations to you all on some fantastic performances today in a very difficult race.
I too was hoping JR would clean up HRT and score a win Mt, although I'm still trying to get over the fact I was barracking for a Holden at that point |

Yep well done to All of the top ten for that matter to everyone who finished such an interesting and thrilling race.
If you are going to congrat the racers on ten tenths you had better add another 15 or so names to the list, they mightn't post but they are reading everything that is typed. |

The whole weekend was a sucess for the less profiled teams and under performers. The faces in the top ten Wills, Rat, Jr, Ellery. well done and then to turn that in to top ten finishes. Yes this Ford supporter was cheering on Wills/Richards Go Kiwis.. Well done to Steve Ellery hopefully this will help get some funding. The best thing is Bathurst looks like it will be close...

And good on Luke Youlden for going to the HYL pit to find Dale Brede to apologise for using the #46 car as an alternative braking device late in the race.
If Dale's car wasnt there it would have been sandtrap city for the SuperCheap car |

The HYL team did well enough, if not for a strategy choice that was gambling on the rain to clear... had they not gone that way, the car was on track for a top 15 result...
Its all full of ifs, buts and maybes... |

Congratulations to Steve and the team on a great second place. Also congratulations to Simon Wills on a highly competitive weekend, and Mark Noske for a solid result. I also agree Steve, bring on Bathurst it is going to be one hell of a race. Hopefully one of these three can win it.
P.S. Simon you are the only Holden I will go for. Go the FORDS. |

Simon, congrats on an outstanding performance.
The most remarkable achievement after last weekend though has to be your ability to get Fords fans barracking for you. Good luck mate, I hope your the first Holden home in 4th position! |

I would like to also say well done to Simon and Jason, I was peeved I couldn't watch on the telly live. I sat down last Sunday after having my wisdom teeth out and had a relax. Also well done but hard luck to Bairdo. You were going so well and it wasn't your fault.
(Also cheers to Team Dynamik for the cap I won yesterday!) |
