South Downs Stages
Used to be that there was so much to go watch during the winter months down south, with rallycross at Brands and Lydden, plus Oval Racing at Wimbledon.
Anyway thanks to the organisers, competitors and marshals of the South Down Stages, for braving the cold and providing a beacon of motorsport in the cold months. As a spectator, I really enjoyed it again this year, thanks everyone, especially the marshals. I only managed to brave the cold for half a day, so thanks to those that stood out all day, so the event could run.

Agree with Stephen. Had a brilliant day at Goodwood again this year, despite the cold weather was gorgeous. The entry was a little smaller this year (understandable) but the organisation was as perfect as ever. The marshalls out the back of the circuit were in suspiciously good spirits (not sure what was in them flasks!!)
This event is an absolute must in the calender - especially as its free to spectate and wander around such a lovely circuit. There was a kiwi driving in a suzuki swift 1300 - ABSOLUTELY NUTS!!, talk about entertainment, that man was either a total hero or a nut job, the little (old) swift screamed its nuts off all day - proper job!! Well done the organisers and marshalls - great day out |

Thats them! Great photos Stephen, shame it can`t really convey the mechanical torture of that little car!!
I think that the car is for sale, hope that pair end up in something really dangererous!! Imagine a car that steers from the rear! |
