Ambrose Cleared! 3 Round wins in a row!
As confirmed on SBR website, Ambrose has been cleared due to lack of evidence.
3 in a row for Ambrose, and 4 straight round wins for Ford! |

Despite Ford's current winning streak, it is not reflected in the pointscore.

4 wins in a row, time for Ford to get some downforce taken out, they obviously have an advantage

The points system is pathetic. Ford win 4-1 rounds and it's still Holden 1-2 in the standings. A total joke.

DNQ - nothing wrong with the points score system - unless the *same* Ford manages to win all four then of course it will look like it is.
The fortunate (or unfortunate depending on the colour of your jacket) is that those at the top have been consistent, the Ford boys, at thistage at least, haven't. But - give them time and I am sure it will change. |

But there isn't really any incentive to go for a win, when you can potter around in second, and pick up only 6 less points than the winner. It was designed so that we wouldn't have another Skaife run away, but really, it hasn't helped out Ambrose one iota...
I like this- "cleared due to lack of evidence". I can draw a picture of what happened if they like! Did someone go and burn the tape before the stewards could have a good scroll through it? |

Re points - maybe you are right, maybe not - but the point is that Bright and Richards have had good finishing positions in all rounds so far - Ambrose, despite winning one race and then a round (but not maximum points of 192), has had two relatively low finshes which have, at this stage, hurt his overall points.
Even when you take off his worst round (96 points) his worst is still 117, wherease Bright loses 134 but retains 4 170 plus rounds. Lack of evidence - also implies contradictary evidence notnecessarily a physical lack of evidence. If both drivers for instance can't agree on what was happening you HAVE to give the benefit of the doubt. Otherwise we might as well have Skippy as the Chief Steward. (Oh what do you mean? We already do???) |

Of course you would have two drivers having a difference of opinion- if Marcos felt sorry about punting off Forbes he probably would have stopped and given him a push start
