Talon Riot Control Van - Worlds greatest vehicle?
What a peice of kit.
http://www.pwelburn.com/images/056.jpg Some of you may of seen this on top gear last night. I was stuned, and even more amazed to find that one of only 9 ever made is in the uk (that exact one), and up for sale on Ebay! (The other 8 are in so called "freindly" middle east countrys. No comment ) All the mod cons, Electrifyed shell, Jet cannon, Grennade Launcher, Bog, Armor plating to with stand AK47 fire, PA System, Flood lighting, Can be driven through buildings, fridge (essential for those long nights of havoc ), All kinds of weaponary, A mystery reset button, and you guessed it, Air-con. And Much Much More If you didn't see it I urge you to visit the sites I've found about it. What a vehicle. M25 traffic jams are no longer a problem! Oh and did I forget to mention that its road worthy and has a years tax and MOT http://www.pwelburn.com/pages/1/ http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2419899030 Last edited by Bluebottle; 25 Jun 2003 at 21:19. |

Any vehicle that serves to silence the voice of the people must not be glorified wadda wadda etc etc.

Only nine? Oh well, if you want a fleet, I recommend you go straight to your friendly Daewoo dealer and ask for six long-wheelbase Matiz with the James Bond option package.

Yup only nine.
They were produced by Locomotors, Andover UK. Not far from Thruxton. Wonder if they have been tested there |

I prefer the Cadillac Gage V100 "Commando" for when I fell like some close in riot control duty.
Especially with optional 90mm quick repeating cannon and pintle mount machine gun. http://www.ifrance.com/ArmyReco/Amer...150_USA_10.jpg BTW, there is one of these bad boys parked in a guy's garage in Tulsa, OK, sans weapons however. Last edited by Bluebottle; 25 Jun 2003 at 21:18. |

i think i'd rather have a Challanger 2 tank, just looks more impressive and less like a house on weels.
i saw an article in a paper about a man who drives a tank around london, oviously it has rubber treads, oddly he had painted it yellow. Last edited by Smokey 6 litre; 27 Jun 2003 at 12:18. |
