Vegas explanation
This story from the Review-Journal seems to explain the confusion on Vegas and the guy interviewed Gentilozzi and Gossage. The misuse of the word "confirmed" in connection with this still mystifies me, but here goes.......

still that gossage guy has some beef with CART, he needs to be reminded that it was the Old CART owners and oganisers that let this texas race go batty, the new group is bent on success and New success, not old laurels.
