In these type of topics I have my own standard answer:
Phillipe Adams (1993, Lotus, Spa, Estoril and Monza) |

Phillipe Adams..... now If you're going to replace Zanardi for the Belgian grand prix , ahem at least the guy could have a 'little' talent, sadly he didn't

His name was Jean-Denis Delatraz, but he was really bad. There have been so many of them though:
Giovanni Lavaggi Ricardo Rosset - for driving into the back of a multi-car pileup without a care in the world at Spa Hideki Noda Taki Inoue etc. |

Every winter we have this topic and the answer should always be JEAN DENIS DELATRAZ.

I also believe that Rosset was king of the duds in F1.

There was an influx of really poor drivers between 1990-1995. Most have been mentioned above.

Guy Ligier. But perhaps he could have been quicker if he has shed some bulk.

Well, Bernd Schneider I thought was pretty good with his 5 Karting Championships, GT titles and numerous DTM titles, not to mention the ITC. But it seems it just didn't happen for him in F1. Mind you, his Zakspeed was awful and the Arrows wasn't much better.

It is always an interesting one, and in light of the Wilson v Webber comments regarding F3000 results in other threads, it makes me wonder as to the relevance of F3000.
Deletraz may be awful in an F1 car but picked up a couple of podiums in F3000, and Ricardo Rosset was a front runner in F3000 too. It does beg the question....why were they appalling in F1!!!?? My vote goes to Lavaggi though |

Jean Denis Deletraz wins it for me, although he did pass both Mclarens in his Pacific at the 1995 European Grand Prix (it was wet and the Mclarens were on dry tyres!)
Other contenders... Taki Inoue Otto Stuppacher Claudio Langes Enrico Bertaggia Loris Kessel |
