GPL Assistance required.

Hi i have just upgraded to new pc which runs
Windows XP, i have loaded GPL which would not run.
So downloaded the all in one patch, problem solved. I next downloaded the GEM+ addon, no problem, loaded more tracks ok.
Now i get the new tracks listed on single race &
training but not on Championship.
Also maybe connected but when i go to log out of the gem+, the box on screen freezes before it saves the info.?

Can anybody help?

Sorry Pete, I can't help you with the use of GEM+ at all. Never used it (never found the need to). I think pirenzo is probably your man for this - I think he uses (or has used) GEM+.

Haven't used GEM+ in a whole while now but isn't there an option somewhere where you have to add the track to the championship?

Yes there is but because the screen freezes when trying to exit gem+, it appears not to move the tracks which is annoying, Is there another way of adding these without gem+?.

All modern tracks have their own installers which add them to the season.ini anyway.

I am updating to Window XP- and adding a larger harddrive and transferring my current stuff over (XP recognozes both its swell, i think RAID is auto set at 0)
anyway i have un installed GPL to save the hassle of having it go bonkers- so i'll start over- i have my patches waiting and ready- what is the "all in one patch?"
i haven't heard of it...
and i can't remember where i got my menu fixes- you know to change "Coventry" to Cooper, and 'Murasama' to Honda...??

With windows XP I found GPL would not run,
but if you go to GPLEA TRACK DATABASE web site
you can down load it.It is on the top left of the page.

By the way i dont know what it is either ,but as it works i am happy, I have not changed my Cooper
& Murasama yet either

I use GEM+ very occaisionally, that's never been a problem for me:confused:
When you use the track installer though, there is a checkbox that says "add to gp.ini" check that when you instal a track and it will be added to the championship. You can also use GPLAIM or GPL Season
