Really good race overall. Enjoyed that alot. Kristensen has to be ranked as one of the best Sportscar racers of all time now. Doesn't hurt to be constantly in the best machinery, but this year was a real battle. Congrats to Corvette as well to overcome all those tribulations. My heart sank when I saw Fellows nose it into the tires. Great drive to come back.

Yes a great race, much more entertaining than in recent years. But of course it would have been even better if the #88 Audi had won overall. Also great to see Oliver Gavin brining home the Corvette, a strong performance too by the TVR's.

Now for the spa 24hrs....

This is prolly blasphemic to say in a british forum, but - no .

And yes, great stuff by Gavin, Beretta and Magnussen aswell .

First time since the tones of Kimigayo was heard after the race since 1991.
Maybe this interests Japanese manufacturers to make a comeback to Le Mans.

The Lord of the Rings indeed!

Huge congratulations to the whole Goh team, and especially Kristensen for his 6th win (in only 8 outings?! ). Great stuff to see Johnny Herbert pushing righ to the end - a worthy if a little disappointing 2nd place for Veloqx.

And finally, enormous congratulations to GM and the Corvettes - Oliver Gavin, Beretta and Magnusson won a superb and very hard fought GTS win that could have gone either way. In the end, the sheer durability of those glorious Corvettes held out, and given the earlier escapades of the #63 car, a brilliant result to get the 1-2 finish.
to all!!

40 seconds gap at the chequered flag = 1 tenth by lap on 24 hours... who said that endurance was boring ?

The Tom K's wins are not due to hasard. His recipe ? Going fast while avoiding the vibrators (is this the correct word ?), threading the way through the traffic. There are many track masters in endurance, but facts seem to prove that he is the best.

Kerbs are the raised edge of the road and don't have the ridges to vibrate the car, rumble strips do have the ridges.

Having said that kerbs works fine.
