New Info for Marshals
The Outpost and volunteering forms are now available on the BRSCCNW web site for you to download. As the Outpost is being sent out in the post in b&w, you may like to see what it looks like in colour. The Outpost will be available for each new edition on this web site, we are also looking into getting it onto the BMMC web site eventually.
Hope you like it, and as usual, any comments whether favourable or not would be welcome along with any items you would like included. My details are on the 2nd page of the newsletter. Jan |

To save on postage costs, why not give people the option of receiving the Outpost by email or downloading from the website? It would also ensure that a certain observer who lives in Stoke gets his copy at the same time as everybody else! |

Thanks Dave. I am looking into this for the future. My thanks go to Andrew Brewer and Alistair Garrett for allowing me to use their web site for further distributions.

It's very nice of the BRSCCNW to allow us to use their web space, but surely the BMMC Outpost should be available to download from the BMMC website!!!

Chris Hobson (our new Chairman) and I will be discussing this matter over the next few days. Hopefully the issues will be resolved shortly.
Visit the BMMC website for some exciting new appointments!!! Last edited by Stephen Green; 12 Dec 2004 at 22:42. |

A belated thanks Stephen, please let me know how things went. As I said in my earlier e-mail I am more than happy to post the newsletter on the BMMC web site once Mike has given me the ok. The idea of this seems to have gone down very well.

Thats right, they have changed their name and there is another thread on the subject floating around somewhere.

RE: BRSCCNW Site Issues
Dave, i think it's a problem with the Java in the menu system, it seems to only be compatible with IE. I have a similar problem using Firefox, but if i use IE it's fine. Apart from having to use IE, anyways!!!!

By the way, try clicking on to 'Display modes' & take a look at threaded or hybrid mode! Last edited by Dave Brand; 13 Dec 2004 at 20:20. |
