EUROCARS has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Tony King & SCSA

Unfortunally looks like another driver has finally got fedup with SCSA, Tony King seemed like a nic genuine guy. Wish him best in the future. Maybe he could get a pickup truck.

Also chances are John Mikel will be racing in Craftsman Trucks full time next year, so another driver less.

Talking of Pickups I see ex eurocar V6 Runner John Stant is racing Pickups next year, another great driver to add to the series.

That is not what Tony has said in the SCSA forum. Also according to Torquespeed.com John has only signed a deal to race at Atlanta and Texas.

Not according to the website www.torquespeed.com ( since John owns Torquespeed I would have thought that it would be mentioned) nor can I find any mention on nascar.com.

Also a few NASCAR drivers might offended by the term yank as many come from the old Confederacy

Eurocars, Tony King has already refuted your assumption that he is leaving SCSA. Would you like to post your facts that John Mickel is leaving rather than jumping to conclusions over a rumour you think you have picked up on.

That could because the vast majority of NASCAR teams are based around Charlotte including the team that John is driving for this weekend

so if Tony King (note I am using the word if) is not doing SCSA next year, could it have anything to do with the fact that he might have pranged the car on more than several occassions? West-tec pockets are only so deep.

I know that his June accident was not his fault as he was tapped into the spin that sent him and Duncan Grey into the wall and myself diving for cover and a struggle to unwrap my headset cable from around my neck

Hmmm

Hi All

A friend of mine e-mailed me to tell me I was being discussed over here!

Not seen this forum before, actually quite lively innit?

OK on to this thread...

Eurocars

1. I have not said I'm NOT doing ASCAR next year.

2. I have not said I AM doing ASCAR next year.

3. I HAVE said that events over the winter will make things clear.

I would love to say more... but I REALLY can't! Sorry!

You have some interesting viewpoints Eurocars, and perhaps a little inside knowledge too!?! Just count to ten regularly bud, try to stay civil, and watch what happens

Skyredbutton

Only one prang this year down to me, and that was a light brush with the wall that most didn't even notice! The 4 bigguns were caused by brake failure, engine failure, a tyre, and a lapped driver! :P

Also, like most drivers it's ME that pays for insurance and damage excess!

My relationship with West-Tec is excellent, (as were my crew!)

IF I do ASCAR next year... it'll be with West-Tec.

All the best to you all
