Best in Britain - Wimbledon!

Next sunday sees the Britain meeting for the National/Outlaw hot rods.

I for one am looking forward to it, as long as I can get back from Silverstone in time! Any one else going to be going?!

Elio should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Yep, should be. I read on an oval forum that the shale has/is being removed (presumably cos no more speedway) and the insides of the corners are being "brought in" a little. Anyone else have any more details about this?? (I`m sure Mr Birley and Mr Collins will be better informed!).

Yes, there are a number of Borough 19 and BARC south east people going. The races will be for National Hot Rods and Outlaws (I know Ricky Hunn is booked in, so keep back from the fence!), 2 litre Hot rods (Dave Longhurst will be there), Superstox (should see Dave Coyne) and Stock Saloons (look out for Samatha Holland, who is probably still top of the points). Start time is 5PM. Even if it is very cold (which it will be) there is plenty of heated grandstand space.

Will Sam be racing?? She was there a couple of weeks ago, but didn't race...!

I'm certainly looking forward to it! Now crossing fingers that I will be able to make it!

12 races in just over four hours on a "shaleless" track, the new tarmac was very new!! Good to see several ten-tenthers (Chezza, Graham Bahr, Alan Cherry) along with several other "long" circuit racers.
