Yeah Liz, you can't blame Mikey every time Tracy crashes into him....
Oh and before i get blasted, it was only last year the last time they were at it, so give them a few more races and i expect there to be more tears flowing from their eyes. |

Oh, and only about 1.5 seconds in the top 21...not too many series can boast that....(ok maybe Nascar....but that doesnt count )

Dear Liz,
Would it be out of line for me to politely request that you stop bashing Michael at every turn? It does tend to get rather old, and leaves a tarnish on all of the other (very astute and intelligent) things you say. WB |

Oh, sorry, that is ill mannered of me isn't it. I will try to control myself and do remind me from time to time. I will try only to jeer at Mikey when he crashes out of a race and then blames somebody else.
But that is a marvelously close field, isn't it? Good luck to everybody who is racing today and may Penske get their 100th win. |

Has it ever snowed at a major race before? What was Tracy talking about testing at Nazareth in a snowmobile suit? Was that just him talking or did he do that?

I heard Penske once had to plow the track for him to get out there at Nazareth...

...Liz, it snowed lightly during the Qualifying weekend for the very first US 500 at Michigan. It didn't interrupt any on track activity but get this...I was camping with my dad!...

thanks for reminding me
actually, now i think about it, isn't it time n/h let someone else do the winning and general wise guy things? i mean, it's all very well, this little fairy story of one of the really small number of americans (2?) in cart doing really well, but hey, come on, it's so see through! join the campaign to deflate mikey's tyres just before the start! no more andretti's! more brazilians! ban teenyboppers! |

OR ... we could send various Brazilians to do what Mika said he did to Frenzy at Monza -walk up to him on the grid and say "Have you noticed that all your tires are flat? They look flat to me."
