Peugeot 905 demensions/specs.
Since the Rondeau thread may be wearing itself out, maybe I'll ask about a more recent car. I would like similar info, and as it's a more well documented car, the 905 info should, in theory at least, be much easier to find. I would also like to know f/r overhangs if possible. Thanks.

The Peugeot 905 is one of my favorites. The EVO version is just magnificent looking. Here are a few tidbits:

According to the 1991 World Sportscar Racing Yearbook the Dimensions of the 905 Evo 1 Bis are:
Length: 4800mm Height: 1080 mm Width: 1960 mm Wheelbase: 2800 mm Track Front: 1630 mm with 17" Michelin tyres Rear Track: 1550 mm with 18" Michelin tyres And “at Monza, the opening round of the 1992 (First and only full season) World Sportscar Championship Yannick Dalmas claimed pole position at 1:26.019, fractionally quicker then Senna's outright Monza Record at the time.” One can only imagine how fast these could have gone if manufacture interest had not of waned and the governing bodies not slowed them down... |
