MGCC HRDC Snetterton - 1/2 October 2011
Who's going?
Just spent all day getting the Custina back together post Woodgood, we have a new pedal box/steering box brace fitted and have bolted all the core plugs in. no idea what the grids look like yet but a 50's tin top race, the inaugural TC63 tin top and a pre 65 GT race should all be good viewing as well as the MGCC stuff . . . . |

I'll be there with both the Elite for the HRDC GT Greats and the WSM Midget for the Equipe GTS double header.
Surprised that no tickets have arrived yet.......methinks a call to the MGCC on Monday will be needed if nothing arrives in the post by then. We may even be blessed with some good weather if the forecast can be believed - it says sunshine all the way. Robyn - Saturday and Sunday 1st/2nd October |

Brian,
My entry pack and tickets arrived on Friday so if nothing on the door mat Monday suggest you chase. I'm in the double header Equipe GTS in the Grantura and also in the 4 hour relay on Sunday so a busy weekend ahead! Looking forward to seeing you race Zeff - I missed you at Goodwood - got delayed by the Glam Cabs girls! |

Jason and I have entered our Lancia Aurelia in the pre-60 TC race. I did harbour mad ideas over the weekend of getting a late entry for the Abarth but the logistics would be very difficult so we'll be sensible and just take the one. Not yet samped the new Snetterton lay out so a voyage into the unknown!

Just finished speaking to Steve Carr at the MGCC offices. They have not yet received the entry list for the Equipe GTS races from Christophe and are sitting on a pile of tickets waiting to send them out! So anyone out there who's entered, might be worth a call to Steve. Dave - you've received yours because of your entry in the relay... See you Saturday - still expecting sunshine. |

My info has just arrived, good grids for all 3 HRDC races.
Does anyone know if there's mains hook ups accross the paddock now? generator will be required otherwise! JT- drop me a line of you need a ticket (or you can't just swan in like Gordon does !) |

Thats a very valid question, It was only ten years ago when I stayed in a B&B near Snet, which was also small farm, it was double booked, I drew the short straw and ended up sleeping in a caravan for the night! there was proper light in the pub for dinner that evening, but I don't recall if it was gas or the glow of cheeks

You'll have to remind us which division they are in, Terry!
Lucky for Mr Slater he is only spectating. Reckon you and the team need to keep a careful eye on the bloke with the pale blue Cortina, though. Sounds a great meeting and with weather hopefully stuck on 'scorchio' setting. Good luck to you all, fingers crossed you have a great weekend! |

You are correct - it's going to be a cracking meeting with some excellent entries and hopefully we've planned the Snetterton Sun correctly once again! PS: Thanks for the tip off! |

You'll only find the entries for the MG races, the 3 races with the HRDC have a separate entry list which was sent out by Julius to entrants. Here is a scanned copy. 39 entries for the Pre-60 Touring Cars, 24 for the pre-63 TCs in their inaugural race and 22 for the sub 1500cc GTs. There is no entry list yet for Equipe GTS because the MGCC has not received one from the organiser!!!! Signing on should be interesting for this one. |
