Coloni Appeal
Antonio Pizzonia's miserable Formula 3000 season was made complete today following a decision by motorsport governing body the FIA to disqualify him from the second place he scored at Monza last month.
The Petrobras Lola was thrown out because the team ran a rear wing element upside-down to increase straightline speed at Monza. But the protest against the cars of Wirdheim and Enge running with their anti-roll bars detached was rejected. |

is disgusting that this things happens. Coloni is not a sportman, and this thigs prove it. The spirit of the rules are for the people not to cheat, but those things are clever thinking and not cheating. Coloni deserves all the worst and proves to be a very bad LOOSER wich at the end of the day is what they are.

I don't get it,what is wrong with this appeal? You want every car racing with illegal rearwings?

surely if they ran with the rear wing element upside down because they realised that it would benefit them, they deserve a round of applause for innovation. Isn't motorsport about making the best of the equipment you've got?

the bobbling rearwing already have been an issue in formula1 about a year ago,so
its not a new revolutionary idea and no applause is needful in fact its illegal.other teams fixed the wings on the grounds of the rules while Petronas didnt,or? how come the Ardens are not in trouble? because they ran legal cars at monza? possible |

Coloni didnt make the rules, the FIA did. So if anyone is unsporting its the team breaking the rules.

firstly , i thought the upside down rear wing was a rather good idea.....but i understand , if the rules were broken then fair enough .
BUT.......i have to say that this years F3000 has been a complete joke...the season finishes , and then the standings are completely turned around weeks later.. Its madness....we might as well ignor the racing during the season and all go and spectate outside the court of appeal after the season has finished ! |

Did they check Ricardo Sperafico's car as well for that wing?
