Mortara claimed his 2nd win of the season, I picked him out as one to watch before the season started, I think this guy will go places.

Sorry, but I don't think that's correct. The only championships or similar that are entitled to include FIA in their titles are listed on this page.

Yes, the Formula 3 Euro Series has an FIA permit, but then so does the British F3 International Series. It's no big deal, but worth clarifying.

Indeed that is true. Any internationally sanctioned events need an FIA permit, but that doesn't make them an official FIA series. Champ Car need to organise FIA permits to race in the Netherlands for instance, but CC isn't an official FIA series. Certainly confusing. I believe it is in order to race on a FIA sanctioned track, you need an FIA permit for that race.

That's true. The event also has to be included in the FIA calendar of events, for which you have to pay, naturally. This applies to all F3ES and BF3 events.

as for the FIA theory - thought originally the series was called FIA Formula 3 Euro Series, no harm done

Can I point out that the Euroseries does not comply with FIA F3 technical regs (minor thing I think about the endplates)
