GP2 @ Abu Dhabi
Daniel Abt will drive in Formula E in Malaysia and will miss the GP2 final event in Abu Dhabi. Who will race for Hilmer?

It's a meaningless end of season race, there'd be no problem with sticking her in for the weekend.
Indeed, if she was confirmed for GP2 now, that'd rule her out of taking part for Caterham! |

Okay, maybe shove an F3 or FR3.5 guy in who would be interested in GP2 next season. Or Regalia could come back. Powell or likewise would be a huge waste of a seat. But I guess it is a fairly pointless finale, so they may as well get some cash, although for some drivers it could be used to make some noise going into next season.
This may be a bit out of nowhere but could AFdC make a shock appearance? Gasly's in GP2... |

Will Buxton tweeted something about Daly racing and winning the last race he's commentating on, so I guess Daly at Hilmer? Didn't he race with them last year

Regalia is unable to come back, mostly after the acrimonious depart from Hilmer, he was walking in STC2000 paddocks some weekends ago... Unless a team could offer to him race for free, or for a small sum... It's a nightmare we Argentineans see our hopefuls turning back to our country with no hopes to success abroad, mostly in the case of Facu who was runner-up of GP3 last year.
It's a shame that both Argentina and Venezuela, who have a plethora of promising young hopefuls, have their careers abroad cut due to economic constraints, specially regarding foreign currencies and its limitations in both countries. Unless a team manager would accept strong BolÃ*vares or Argentine pesos to fund them... |

Latifi getting plenty of mileage in up from F3 then.
Does he have a big budget for next year? |

Latifi is perhaps the healthier of his generation in Canada. He will do well in Gp2.

Vandoorne on pole.
Gasly P6 putting Haryanto half second behind. Who said that Gasly's performance were due to Renault Sport help? |

To be fair, he's at the place he should be, given the talent levels in both GP2 and FR3.5. Sorry to start this all again.
But it shows he's one to watch and a potential title candidate next season if (when???) he races here next season. |

Let's wait for tomorrow, Gasly is extremely talented but in GP2 the hard thing is to manage the tires during the race. Come tomorrow he might regret going so much for qualy speed

In GP2, qualifying probably tell more of a driver's potential than the actual races, take Marciello as the best example. Massively fast, but needs time to adapt how GP2 works.
Gasly in P6 also promises a lot for 2015. |

Vandoorne won again, ahead of Palmer and Evans, with Nasr 4th, so the top 4 have been the standout 4 of the season if you had to pick 4. Another driver on good form as of late, Arthur Pic, will start R2 on pole. |
