Very good that they can drive more championships in one season, now Fortec, KTR and JK-Racing are already in hopefully ART will come too, then we get a field like the Clio Interseries

Who is A. Carroll? Surely not Adam, I guess. |

So how will it be next year, i hope we get the old times (2007) back, when we had over 40 cars on the grid It was just sick to see how they all 40+ survived Eau Rouge, some 3 wide
If i'm right this are the only confirmed drivers!? Not much...? - Kyvat & Sainz jr. with Koiranen - Oscar Tunjo with Josef Kaufmann - Stoffel Vandoorne with KTR Looks like Tarancon and Weckstrom will join Tech1, Schothorst and Ledogar did a lot of testing with ART so there is a change they will drive there.. But only 4 drivers confirmed yet.. Hopefully someone can post when there are more confirmed that i forgot or so.. |

It was a general test day. I think Abarths were running together with FR2.0 and in separate sessions F3 with FMaster (some GP3 drivers practising with IFM cars). Testing continues today.
I think this Thomas Jäger is Austrian karting driver... Btw, why people think ART will be in FR2.0 next year? I thought they are doing GP3 and GP2 (+ supposed LMP program) only. |

It's not really ART because they are not pepole from ART but they have backing from Fred Vasseur and Nicolas Todt, they gave their name. The team is made of two engineers of SG Formula who left Tech1 at the end of the year. |

So, ART didn't enter FR2.0 after all?
First it was rumoured that ART F3 team would switch over to FR2.0, then it was a new team under ART banner and now finally the truth is that the team not owned by Vasseur nor employing ART staff, is called R-Tech and has nothing to do with ART. Right? |

No at the beginning it was not ART F3 team. Some pepole from EX-SG team (most notably Thibaut de Mérindol) decided to make a team with the support of ART GP Nicolas Todt and Fred Vasseur .It 's team associated to ART GP and supported by ART GP.It's an affiliated team to ART GP.It's a satellite team controlled by ART GP. Just look at italiaracing: It will be called R-Tech GP satellite team ART Grand Prix championship in the Eurocup Formula Renault 2000. After last fall's team Frederic Vasseur and Nicolas Todt announced its exit from the F3 Euro Series and the entry in the continental series of the French, the official debut took place on the track in testing in Barcelona and Valencia to two weeks ago. The same team of technicians were not able to communicate with the official name of the team, which was announced in recent days. As above, the name is R-Tech GP, as anticipated the French newspaper Le Progrès, and the team will be entrusted to the technical management of Thibaut de Merindol, who already worked in SG Formula until the close of the French team in 2009. This year, Thibaut has worked for Cram Formula Abarth Matthew Davenport, having already completed the program with the Formula Master team Marcello Rosei, also assisting in Arthur Pic Tech 1 in the Renault Eurocup. It also came the confirmation of one of the pilots that the team will line up in the Alps Eurocup, the nineteen year old French Ledogar As derived from the Formula BMW. |

R-Tech will run 4 cars in the Eurocup this season.
Others are: Tech 1: 4 cars Epsilon Euskadi: 4 cars Koiranen Bros: 4 cars MP Motorsport: 3 cars Fortec: 3 cars Josef Kaufmann: 3 cars KTR: 2 cars One Racing: 2 cars KEO Racing: 2 cars This is provisionally, so it can still change. 31 cars on the grid will be very good i think after last years 20-24. I have read somewere GSK Racing will do Eurocup, but they aren't on the list!? Interwetten and Cram too? And probably some invited drivers in some weekends.. |

I have read that Frijns also plans to do GP3 with Arden but as far as I know FR2000 rules would leave him with just two days of testing (he wouldn't be allowed in the Barcelona and Silverstone tests). Or maybe I have got it wrong?
