Gallardo GT3 racer

Lambo Racing

Reiter has built the Gallardo for GT3 racing. Wonder if they will build it for GT2 as well?

Nice looking car....and an interesting looking team.
First time I think I have heard much come from the GT3 ranks.

Hope it does well, and makes more of an impact the the Murci has in recent times.

well, thats only a car for VLN in germany and not a GT3 car at the moment. But GT3 comes later. Dont think they will build a GT2 car, Mr. Reiter did some work for Spyker in the past and he knows how hard it is to beat Porsche in GT2

But Porsche no longer cares about GT2, theyve got P2 to dominate now!

Cool looking car. But how much support would you get from Reiter? That would be my question.

Probably no support trackside , Lingmann Motorsport is taking care of the trackside support , a known squad in the VLN.

A cute looking car - let´s see how the roll-out under race-conditions will suit the Lambo

Is the car still AWD, or is it now RWD. I'm not familiar with the regs for the VLN?

The team finished 2nd in class today at the Ring. It was a very good run for their first race with the lambo. Their next race will be in 2 weeks at the ring. They may miss the season finale (everyone probably will- the weather is getting worse and worse and at this rate, there will be snow in the Eifel Mountains in 4 weeks)

Very good result for a new car.

I thought Raeder had sold their V8 Star?

It is sold, but they are rounding out the season with it. The team will have an "exotic" car for next year, but it wont be a Lambo or an Aston Martin DBRS9. It will be interesting to see which new exotic car they will run.

I understand from another forum they are the German importer of TVR...in UK there are some racing cars of this brand available...

The new car wont be a TVR and it wont be a Mosler neither (Raeder Motorsport is also involved in the german Mosler roadcar import-project.)

At the moment Raeder can´t take the Mosler because there is no homologation for this car (G2 class doesn´t exists in VLN). And for the "24-Spezial" Category Mosler need to be a "real" manufacturer - and therfor they need to buil 1000 cars. BUT if the Mosler gets a GT2 homologation the car can race in the VLN - and thats one of the options for Nici Raeder.

Thats the problem: Time! So Raeder must take "Plan B" but the Mosler isn´t out of his brain ...

No they aren´t. Raeder is the technical developement partner for the german TVR importer, who will import the Mosler to Germany. But Raeder only works with the Mosler project, not for the TVR roadgoing cars. They will adapt new brakes (Moveit) and suspension (H&R) to the 900S Mosler.

with times around 9 minutes the lambo was not really fast enough,as the 2litre BMW 320Wtcc cars are running at the same speed....

It was the first real running under competition for this car. And its more al road than a racing car until now. I think next year they will have more expreience with suspension and drivetrain. So the car will be faster. And don´t forget, the drivers are not as professional as in the BMW.
