rounds 7,8 & 9 Thruxton
time for the fastest track in the UK to get some action. by the way a little heads up if you was due to phone or e-mail this track up you will have to turn up on the gate now. there is this rare thing of a back to back bank hoildays and that the reason.
I wonder if Plato has a new body shell after rolling his car at race 5 last time out. |

So we're going to be 2 cars down with no Tony Hughes or Dave Newsham, and we have all the fun with the turbo cars pegged back a little as well. I think this will be an interesting weekend, a few punctures thrown in too.

Newsham's jumped squads to STR to race a Leon, but they won't have one ready in time for Thruxton.
Interesting move, there is his quote but I wonder what the real reason is! |

As far as I recall, Geoff Steel bought two E90's, so they may have two seats to fill...

Interesting to note Dunlop have said all the teams that followed their camber etc setting advice last year were the winning teams - bit of a hint to everyone else there.

Yes, but they'll be wanting money for that second car. I don't know if Newsham paid for his drive, but Martyn isn't. If he wants to race it's great for him that he's in a position to do so, but GSR relenquishing the drive to e.g. Kane uses the same logic as AMD and TOC. For the sake of the team.

It should be here: http://www.itv.com/sport/btcc/simulcast/default.html
But for me, its just showing what is broadcasting on ITV4 (i.e. IPL Cricket at the moment). |

Jordan is on a roll. I wouldn't be surprised if he came out of Thruxton leading the championship.
Hope TOC goes well too. I'm confident he'd have finished on the podium if he hadn't got taken out in race three at Donington. Last edited by Jamesy-18; 30 Apr 2011 at 17:23. |

TOC stopped at the end of Qually, hope its nothing serious but he's really pulling the pace out of the car.
Looks like the title fight will be Neal, Nash and Jordan this season. |

Tom Cole is real class. That Golf is really going well now. Top 6 grid slot is amazing.

TOC had a minor off at Church, got muck in the radiators and stopped to avoid overheating. Nothing too serious
He really is a top driver, but you have to say 10/10 to the team for their development work on the car too. |

Having a driver of Tom's calibre can only help the development as the year goes on, he is a real coup for AMD Milltek, I hope they can keep him. |
