That fire feels good -- it's -33 here! Merry Christmas to all and may your dreams come true; may your families be happy together and may your team come back in 2005 with two cars and a great attitude and head for the front.
Now where's that hot toddy? |

As I await a winter storm that approaches from the Texas Panhandle (usually bad ones when the originate there), I'm glad that I will have a white Christmas this year...
But I can't wait until spring, when the engines rev up again and we get to enjoy our favorite passion once again...racing.... My first fix will be at Sebring in mid-March (just ordered the Tix yesterday), but I want to thank all of you on the Champ Car forum for a 2004 that was filled with excellent, intelligent discussion of the series, and wish all of you on Ten-Tenths a Merry Christmas, and a Happy 2005 enjoying great racing.... The very best to all of you... Tim |

Migod, Liz, are you serious? -33C????? I have to go to Ontario in January to visit some elderly relatives, so this isn't making me very happy.
In the meantime, "I'm dreaming of a carbon-fibre Christmas..." The best to you all, and see you in the sunshine at Long Beach. keke |

You have to love that Canadian weather. It will be back to +10c with the next Chinook.
Happy holidays to all no matter what your persuasion. Here's to a wonderful new year! |

I can belive that at parts of Canada that it could be that cold, for this time next years sky trip to Quebec, we were told to expect it to be

When you add in the wind chill factor then it CAN feel more like -40 to -50. I lived in Winnepeg, Manitoba for two years when I was a kid and almost everyday during the winter the temperature was -40 to -60......and that was before you added the wind chill into it.
This may sound like a crazy idea to some, but why don't we have a Champ Car race in Canada in the middle of the winter!? The teams could throw some Bridgestone Blizzak tires onto the cars for traction and the drivers could throw on some long underwear so their 'boys' don't fall off. |

Bummer Dov, no Chinook. I guess I spend too much time in Alberta.
Have a happy holiday anyway and don't forget to put electric underwear on the X-Mas list! |
