ITV broadcasting F1 Friday practice sessions
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/65680
http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?id=41939 Good news! Plus races will be able to be seen via ITV's catch up service (not that I'm likely to need that as I'll be watching them all live anyway!!) Last edited by olly83; 13 Mar 2008 at 14:10. Reason: found new link |

If you find an open proxy server based in the UK you should be able to watch it (much like the BBC's GeoIP based blocking on iPlayer).

Excellent news, another reason for me to slack off work on a Friday...

That's great news, it beats watching the practice session on Teletext

Well, this pleases me.
I've some work work I could be getting on with (as opposed to Uni work ), but I'll leave it until ~1200pm after FP1, so I've something to do until 3am! Well played ITV indeed. ....now, will this be interrupted by adverts? |

http://www.xroxy.com/proxy-country-GB.htm No idea if any of these work though. The performance would probably be a bit rubbish too...I'd imagine there are people selling services for this very kind of thing |

Interestingly it looks like I won't find a channel to cover the GP here in Qatar. Another reason to leave.

Have you tried using TVUPlayer? I've heard it can give good results some of the time at least.

Awesome! That's my evening planned then. RLM for the Sebring practise/quali. And F1 FP1 together with the live timing screen
I assume the Friday practise wont include any commentary? Last edited by dazbaz_99; 13 Mar 2008 at 16:57. |

Indeed, the less James Allen per annum the better. It's bad enough hearing him bleating "Hello everyone!" on a Sunday, let alone when I'm in the office

I'm pretty sure Brundle and Allen will be on hand for these, as they do English language broadcasts for the whole world too. I think they have been covering the Friday practice sessions for those other countries.

I wonder if the FP Sessions will eventually be aired on ITV2 or ITV4. Perhaps if they get good viewing numbers online they will.
