I've just read this weeks' Autosport magazine and it mentions that ex-F3 Euroseries racer Jon Lancaster will be driving for Comtec this weekend, alongside recent recruit John Martin.

14° giro - Filip Salaquarda
7° giro - Mihai Marinescu
0 giri - Michael Herck
From the picture on Italiaracing.net it looks like Michael Herck had a pretty sizeable accident against the pitwall.

Here are the standings after today's race:

1. Marcos Martinez - 56 Points
2. Bertrand Baguette - 51
3. James Walker - 46
4. Miguel Molina - 36
5. Oliver Turvey - 34

Also, a quick note for those who don't know - whoever is leading the championship after this weekends' round will get the opportunity to do a demo in the Renault F1 car at the next round at Silverstone. Martinez starts on Pole tomorrow with Baguette lining up fifth, but with only a five point gap all is still to play for

So Baguette & Martinez are tied on 56 points each now - does Martinez get the F1 drive because of more race wins?
